Chatting with an AI Agent

Chatting with an AI Agent

The chat is how teams query, create and analyze from their files. By chatting with a specific agent, you can query the specific agent trained on a particular folder. See the usecase section for ideas on what folders to create and chat with for different functional tasks.

Context

Short-term Memory: Echobase can maintain a short-term memory of the conversation. This allows the model to remember and respond to recent user inputs. For instance, if a user asks, "What's your favorite color?" and follows up with "Why?", the AI can infer that the second question relates to its 'favorite color' even though the context is implicit.

Contextual Resets: Sometimes, especially in longer conversations, the context might get lost or misinterpreted. In such scenarios, it is best to start a new chat to avoid confusion with the existing conversation.

Limitations: It's worth noting that while AI chat systems have made significant advancements in understanding and maintaining context, they're not infallible. They might lose track of context in complex or extended conversations or misinterpret the user's intent.

Chat History

The chat history allows users to see their previous conversations with any particular agent, as well as share previous conversions within an organization. You can click on the chats description and view the entire context of a previous conversation. You can also delete a conversation by clicking on the bin icon that is displayed when hovering over a conversation.
